Riven Homewood from the Steelhead Library, recently alerted us to her library’s plans to participate. We’re excited to learn about their plans and are eager to find out what a September Project event looks like in Second Life. (hint: send photos and a description, Riven!)
Although I’ve never visited Second Life, I’m a big fan of the Nonprofit Commons (fueled by TechSoup), Info Island (powered by the ever-impressive Alliance Library System), and my favorite slice of Second Life, the plot where the Association of Small and Rural Libraries (ARSL) calls home. Here’s a shot of the grand Steelhead Library:

I’m hopeful that Riven will send photos of her library’s event. You can keep up with the Steelhead Library on their blog, the Steelhead Sentinel, and if you spend time “in-world,” please steer your avatar over to the Steelhead Library in September!
